I was one of the interviewees for a piece entitled What is the Gospel Coalition? on Christian.co.uk<\/a>.\u00a0 Here is the extract of what I said in response to the question \u201care some UK Evangelicals moving away from the gospel?\u201d,\u00a0 the whole article is worth a read:<\/p>\n

\u201cDefinitely yes,\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always been liberalism. What\u2019s different about it now is it seems more reluctant to use the label. When I grew up in Christianity I spoke to people who would clearly say \u2018I\u2019m a liberal\u2019. Evangelicals were seen as a pesky minority. That\u2019s changed and there\u2019s a trend to a more evangelical faith. The evangelical movement is where the money is, the power is and the growth is in the UK. People who have a more liberal approach are wanting to stay within the evangelical movement rather than critique it from the outside.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEvangelicalism in the past was defined as whether or not you agree with John Stott and Billy Graham, but now perhaps that\u2019s less the case and we\u2019re a little bit more at sea as to what that definition is.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This was successfully treated, although doctors expect it to return in the future. Out of these experiences I founded Blood Cancer Uncensored, an online patient-led support community.
