In the UK many public figures are understandably nervous about speaking about God. Blair was famously cut off by Alistair Campbell \u201cwe don\u2019t do God<\/a>.\u201d It may not seem like much but when Lewis Hamilton said the following in an interview<\/a> he was risking public mocking: \u201cYou have to remain hopeful, you have to believe there is a plan . . . I believe God has a plan for me. I don\u2019t know what it is.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n

So, people of any faith should be glad that Hamilton was willing to mention in passing his belief in God. If Lewis is willing to be interviewed by a sympathetic interviewer about what God means to him, I would be only too happy to oblige!<\/p>\n
