This is a list, taken from my\u00a0Top Christian bloggers<\/a>\u00a0list. \u00a0The ranking is based solely on number of Twitter followers, which does of course have limitations, but is something that is easily verifiable. Please do refer also to my post about being aware of\u00a0the dangers of being too interested<\/a>\u00a0in whether you are or are not in a list like this.<\/p>\n

One fascinating thing, especially in light of the complementarian \/ egalitarian debate<\/a> is that although many of these women figure very highly in the top non-pastors list (indeed one of them tops the entire bloggers list) not one of them is the senior pastor of a church ie the leader the team<\/strong>. It turns out that Darlene Zschech is described together with her husband as a senior pastor, but her Wikki article suggests that as she is carrying lots of other responsibilities outside the church he is probably the one taking the lead in that team.\u00a0They all exercise their influence<\/a> in different ways. Much could be said about potential reasons to explain this finding, no doubt, but the fact remains that unless I have missed somebody out,\u00a0there are no female senior pastors who are also highly followed Twitter users. <\/strong>\u00a0I have added a couple of extras that I missed and left the original top 20 at the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
