Actually, it is run by a group here at Prison Fellowship, but it expresses my views completely.<\/p>\nThe reason that I wrote The Faith<\/em> is that I think the Church desperately needs, as Jim Packer said on his 80th birthday, to be catechized. We need to learn again the basics of our faith, those things which we hold in common through all the centuries, through all the denominations. It is what Lewis called mere Christianity. But people need to be grounded. Otherwise we can\u2019t defend ourselves and we can\u2019t live the faith out.
