I couldnt disagree MORE with the above quote. Jesus was not in defeat when he died. His death itself was a victory and when he cried \u2018It is finished\u2019 the Devil knew it was over for him. When the temple curtain was torn in two and the people raised from the dead, Jesus had won!!!! Remember he went straight to heaven to glorious victory. \u2018Today you will be with me in paradise\u2019 he said to the theif on the cross.<\/p>\n

Do not think that the devil won on the cross, he lost- it was his worst moment. One of my favorite moments in the film the Passion of the christ is when the devil is suffering in a pit immediately after Jesus death.
