We crave excitement, and I guess this truth must be balanced by the scripture \u2018The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
\n
his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.\u2019 Lam 3:22-23<\/p>\n

I guess to me what this is saying is that in stability and steadfastness there is also newness and excitement. We tend to become too complacent and habituated to things that we are familiar with. To look on a ladybird with the wonder of a five year old child again would be a way of respecting this truth.
