Terry Virgo has posted the first of a series of videos<\/a> looking at the seventeen values that have helped to shape his ministry over the years<\/strong>. They are expressed as what kind of churches he has been trying to plant and establish. The goal is therefore that a Newfrontiers church will reflect each of these values.<\/p>\n

The first value is: \u2018A gospel-preaching church that is loving, righteous in its lifestyle, involved in world mission and reaching the unsaved in its community by both public and personal evangelistic activity.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

This first video expresses the personal and evangelical necessity in the modern world of having a church that is truly relational. If we don\u2019t love and know each other how can we love and reach the world? Terry says during this video that in his early days church was \u201ca pretty lonely place<\/strong>\u201d He went on \u201cThe world personal was very popular\u2026when I first became a Christian I found God personally\u2026it was great to know God personally . . . but the emphasis on personal wasn\u2019t enough for me\u2026I don\u2019t think its possible to really grow into maturity alone.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
