<\/a>\u201cYou always say you want to go away, but once you are away you want to come home,\u201d my son lectured me as I ran around the home frantically packing. \u201cThree days is all you need. Six days and we\u2019ll probably kill one another.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cWell, it\u2019s for six days so let\u2019s pray we come home unscathed,\u201d I joked. \u201cI need some rest and relaxation because I have a case of the \u2018BE\u2019. I\u2019m not even bringing me laptop,\u201d I proudly revealed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHmmm, which only means you will be stressed when you get home because of all the emails and work that you have to catch up on. Or you will be worrying about all the work, and then add in the worry about Papa and the worry about the animals, and\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
I looked over at my 18 year old son and all his wisdom. I was pretty transparent, yes, but he did know his mom.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been months since I saw my daughter who moved to North Carolina back in September. My years are planned a year out with classes, sessions and events, so trying to fit in time to take a trip was not easy, but I made it happen. I knew that I\u00a0had<\/span>\u00a0to make it happen. Not only did I miss her like mad, but I needed to do what my guides and angels were screaming at me to do \u2013 to just BE. I\u2019ll be honest with you, I\u2019m not so good at it. At least that\u2019s what I moaned back to them when they handed out my soul prescription. If I\u2019m not at the office or doing special events, I\u2019m writing. If I\u2019m not writing, I\u2019m researching. If I\u2019m not researching, I\u2019m doing accounting and office work for the business, or I\u2019m cooking, cleaning and so on and so on \u2013 you know, all that real life stuff that we all do. So when my guides told me that I had to leave my laptop at home and find some books to read, well I gave them one of those \u2018yeah right\u2019 looks, but they were serious. And when they told me that I needed to put an \u2018out of office\u2019 on my phone and email and not worry about things for almost a whole week, I admit that I went into a minor panic attack.<\/p>\nHas your computer or phone ever acted weird and you either had to clean out or update some of the old applications or simply just shut the phone\/computer off and do a re-start? We need to do the same thing with our souls or else we only feel static and we only hear white noise. Our bodies even signal the need to \u2018BE\u2019 as well with tension, headaches, sleep disorders, sinus infections, etc. And then the psyche follows with depression, sadness, confusion and even feeling a loss of life purpose are often a side effect of disallowing yourself to just BE. So often we just blame it on outside situations, but really we do it to ourselves by not living in the moment, something that sounds simple, but is so difficult, especially for those who are people pleasers and\/or empaths\/healers.<\/p>\n
There are so many reasons we make excuses for not being able to \u2018BE\u2019, but in the burnt out society that we live in, having a wicked case of the \u2018BEs\u2019 isn\u2019t a bad thing, but a good one. My guides also pointed out some wonderful things that started with \u2018BE\u2019. Bed. Believe. Beer. Bedazzled. Bermuda. Beach. You get the picture. There are so many good reasons to BE; clarity, balance, heightened intuition, peace, health, etc. This next week I\u2019m out with the case of the \u2018BE\u2019 and hoping to implement it into my life more often, suitcase and plane ticket optional.<\/p>\n
