Democrats suggested the indictment was just the tip of the iceberg. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said the case was larger than Libby and \"about how the Bush White House manufactured and manipulated intelligence in order to bolster its case for the war in Iraq and to discredit anyone who dared to challenge the president<\/span><\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s a nice slogan, but shouldn\u2019t Harry note in passing how incredibly few Democrats actually \"dared to challenge the president\" in any way?\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Noone could\u2019ve predicted these legal problems for the Bush administration, but anyone with a pulse could\u2019ve predicted that what was up (Bush and the neocon brigade) would eventually come down, and that when gravity eventually kicked in a record of principled opposition to this madness would come in handy in the political debate and at the polls.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
