For Jews and Muslims to meet, talk, or work together was tough enough before 9\/11. These days it seems almost impossible. Nevertheless, one group in Washington, DC managed to hold a Muslim\/Jewish Passover seder<\/a> in the midst of all the tension, even though other attempts at Muslim\/Jewish dialogue are faltering or on hold<\/a>. \u201cPeace does not look very promising,\u201d said one Muslim participant. \u201cBut tonight we want this to show, even in a small way, that it\u2019s something.\u201d Some Jews and Muslims have even managed to overcome the mistrust enough to co-sponsor activist projects, such as an interfaith peacemaker delegation<\/a> to Israel and Palestine. <\/p>\n
