The mere use of the word \u201cmoratorium\u201d suggests the possibility of pushing the Muslim world into wholesale application of the hudud<\/i> if the debate Ramadan calls for heads in that direction \u2013 which could occur if advocates of an ethical, merciful shari\u2019a are not prepared for it.<\/p>\n
