<\/iframe>\n<\/p><p>Be sure to change the quality to 1080 HD and expand to full screen for the best viewing.<\/p>\n<p>This is my first attempt at time lapse photography; shot on a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B001ENOZY4?ie=UTF8&camp=213733&creative=393177&creativeASIN=B001ENOZY4&linkCode=shr&tag=montanafreethink&qid=1351814800&sr=8-1\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Nikon D90<\/a>\u00a0with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B002LTWDSK?ie=UTF8&camp=213733&creative=393185&creativeASIN=B002LTWDSK&linkCode=shr&tag=montanafreethink&=electronics&qid=1351814910&sr=1-2\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">8mm Rokinon Fisheye lens<\/a> using the free <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bernd-peretzke.de\/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5&Itemid=9\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">DCamCapture software<\/a> and (also free) <a href=\"http:\/\/picasa.google.co.uk\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Picasa<\/a> to create the video (and also free) <a href=\"http:\/\/windows.microsoft.com\/is-IS\/windows-live\/movie-maker-get-started\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Windows Live Movie Maker<\/a> to tweak the audio fade.<\/p>\n<p>The shots go from noon until 2:20pm and then restart at 3:40 and run until 4:30. With this lens there are no auto capabilities, so I would have had to adjust the ISO, \u00a0aperture, and\/or shutter speed with every shot to maintain balanced lighting. As it was I changed the shutter speed once in the first period of time, from 1\/250 sec to 1\/180 at around 0:42 seconds, but it\u2019s barely\u00a0noticeable, especially as the shift to the later time also has slightly, but noticeably different angle. Those shots, from about 0:48 forward, are in fading light and thus had the shutter speed opened to 1\/45 second. I thought about increasing the shutter length (or, rather, decreasing the shutter speed) and\/or increasing the ISO, etc. But the clouds rolling in didn\u2019t look too interesting and the temperature was dropping quickly (I was shooting out of a wide-open window in my bedroom), so I figured I would save the longer time lapse for another day.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be sure to change the quality to 1080 HD and expand to full screen for the best viewing.
