Getting a little extra time to submit my Mphil upgrade is a blessing, as the weather is turning very nice here and demands both outside-time and attention to visuals (photographically speaking)<\/b>. Plus, friends are crawling out of winter slumbers and overall creative energy seems to be in the air\u2026 Here are some select pics to help start out the week beautifully\u2026<\/p>\n

\u00a0Perspective. Under the Higgins St. bridge along the river trail. It\u2019s an 18mm shot, which makes me wish I had a 14mm<\/a>\"\"(yea right), 10mm<\/a> or a fish-eye<\/a>\"\" (as you can see from the links, these aren\u2019t exactly cheap, but they do some very fun things).<\/div>\n

I\u2019m not sure which is more alluring in this photo: the leaf or the air bubbles in the ice. Originally it was the leaf that drew me in, wondering why the ice wouldn\u2019t freeze over it \u2013 did it give off heat as it slowly broke down, returning to the earth? But the bubbles caught my\u00a0 imagination as I fooled with the shot on my computer. <\/div>\n
