Our knowledge of the <span style=\"font-style: italic\">what <\/span>and <span style=\"font-style: italic\">why <\/span>of the brahmaviharas helps us master the <span style=\"font-style: italic\">how<\/span>. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I especially appreciate that last line, affirming the value of understanding the concepts \u2013 even though they are <span style=\"font-style: italic\">mere concepts<\/span> \u2013 and context of the Buddhadharma.
