And probably a mad day at the British Library photocopying everything I can get my hands on that I can\u2019t find in the US.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtSIezvrRI\/AAAAAAAAAV4\/Q9JgmCtHAWg\/s1600-h\/Cheltenham+market.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtSIezvrRI\/AAAAAAAAAV4\/Q9JgmCtHAWg\/s320\/Cheltenham+market.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a> A market in <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Cheltenham<\/span>.\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtSI52MMsI\/AAAAAAAAAWI\/2Rb34WX1F-w\/s1600-h\/Gloucestershire+Uni+loo.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtSI52MMsI\/AAAAAAAAAWI\/2Rb34WX1F-w\/s320\/Gloucestershire+Uni+loo.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a> The loo at <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Gloucestershire<\/span> University, <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Cheltenham<\/span>.<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\">I feel like we lack such shiny things in the US.\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtS_tpk-1I\/AAAAAAAAAWY\/cN8VM8gq0y4\/s320\/Table+Tennis+2009.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/p><\/div>\n<p>Reminiscent of so many good times in Bristol \u2013 playing with <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Soorjya<\/span>, <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Jei<\/span> Ma, SJ, Ana, Katherine, and <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Jiaming<\/span> (who I met up with and played again Friday).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtS_vo060I\/AAAAAAAAAWQ\/DfnFDuDGPTs\/s1600-h\/Dinner+out+-+Bristol.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtS_vo060I\/AAAAAAAAAWQ\/DfnFDuDGPTs\/s320\/Dinner+out+-+Bristol.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a>Dinner out Friday. <br>Indian food with (left to right) Fabio, <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Moragh<\/span>, Francesca, Theresa, Anna, SJ, and me.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtSIu0qEoI\/AAAAAAAAAWA\/TQdCvB3cjXs\/s1600-h\/A+walk+in+Westonbirt.jpg\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_fyeYpxfdjuI\/SXtSIu0qEoI\/AAAAAAAAAWA\/TQdCvB3cjXs\/s320\/A+walk+in+Westonbirt.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a> A walk in <span class=\"blsp-spelling-error\">Westonbrit<\/span>, a national Arboretum, with Anna (left) and Fabio (center). <\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"> <\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">Yes, I\u2019ll be happy to be home again, back at work, back with Julie, back with friends \u2013 but I\u2019m already thinking about how I can manage to return (soon) to spend another 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks (?) here.  And next time it\u2019ll be mostly in Bristol\/west of England\u2026.  <strong>With the GB Pound so low I don\u2019t feel at all poor here \u2013 <em>finally \u2013<\/em> and with the economy (everywhere it seems) going down, prices are dropping like mad<\/strong>.  So it\u2019s actually a great time for me, oddly enough, to be here.
