In reference to the looting of the Baghdad Museum in 2003, Roshi Donald reminded the American people of the eternal truth that, \u201cstuff happens.\u201d Wow. Who couldn\u2019t be reminded of another recent genius, Forrest Gump, who after stepping in feces on a run remarked, \u201cit happens,\u201d thus (fictionally) coining the famous phrase, \u201csh*t happens<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n But, better than \u2018stuff happens\u2019 is the above great koan of the unknown. A koan<\/a>, according to the infallible wikipedia, is \u201ca story, dialogue, question, or statement in the history and lore of Ch\u00e1n (Zen) Buddhism<\/a>, generally containing aspects that are inaccessible to rational understanding, yet that may be accessible to intuition.\u201d Well Roshi D has certainly escaped my<\/span> rational understanding. <\/p>\n The question is, \u201cdoes it speak to my intuition?<\/span>\u201d [intuition giggles] Apparently not.
