Today must be the funniest\/happiest day of my life.<\/p>\n

Yes. It is true.<\/p>\n

Well, maybe not.<\/p>\n

In an attempt to \u2018shake it up\u2019 for my loyal reader(s), I was thinking I\u2019d toss together a top-ten list \u2013 we\u2019ll see if\/how that works\u2026<\/p>\n

10) Happy:<\/span> I got 50 pounds of sushi rice at costco \u2013 sweeet, thanks Mom and Dad!<\/span>
9) Funny:<\/span> I\u2019ve been nominated for multiple Blogisattva<\/span><\/a> awards! Blogisattva <\/span>loosely translates as \u2018a blog-being\u2019 or \u2018one en route to blog-hood\u2019 \u2013 vote for me, vote often. <\/span>
8) Happy: <\/span>Spent half the day with my parents, belatedly celebrating my Bristol graduation \u2013 went to a restaurant with exactly two menu items without meat \u2013 both smothered in cheese (being a vegan, if I ever get there, will be interesting).<\/span>
7) Funny:<\/span> Nacho gets hit in the face with a baskettball<\/a>, learns mindfulness lesson \u2013 bruises heal, mindfulness is forever.<\/span>
6) Happy: <\/span> KBGA, College Radio 89.9FM<\/a> celebrates another great RADIOTHON (fund raiser) \u2013 I used to work for these guys (DJ, Promotions Manager, Business Manager) and it\u2019s great to hear them still rockin\u2019 out and making people happy (even though I\u2019m now a near-total NPR convert, I still switch \u2018back\u2019 from time to time).<\/span>
5) Funny: <\/span> eh\u2026 I got nothin\u2026 <\/span>
4) Happy:<\/span> just fillin in the blanks \u2026.<\/span>
3) Funny:<\/span> \u2026 did ya hear the one about the priest, the rabbi, and the buddhist<\/a> monk? me either.<\/span>
2) Happy:<\/span> Dove Commercial, \u2018Campaign for Real Beauty<\/a>\u2018 (found on Patia\u2019s blog<\/a>) \u2013 three cheers for fighting social stereotypes and getting people to love themselves, just as they are!<\/span><\/p>\n

And (drumroll please) the <\/span> # 1 contributor to Justin\u2019s Funniest\/Happiest Day Ever\u2026\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

1) Funny:<\/span> David Hasselhoff sings \u201cHooked on a feeling<\/a>\u201d \u2013 Quite possibly the most beautifully coreographed piece of David\u2019s career, simply stunning backdrops, and the voice you all know and love so much\u2026 A must see.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, if you\u2019ve surfed around a bit and seen some of what I\u2019ve seen, I\u2019m sure you\u2019re at least a bit happier \ud83d\ude42 And isn\u2019t that what life is all about? Now, go share the love, make someone happy.
