When I was a kid I was made fun of a lot\u2026 and consistently.<\/p>\n
One day I couldn\u2019t take it anymore and ran out of class crying, bursting through the door humiliated.<\/p>\n
On the other side was Mr. Simpson, kneeling down to my height with his arms out. I ran into them and cried.<\/p>\n
He didn\u2019t say much.<\/p>\n
He didn\u2019t do much.<\/p>\n
He just stayed there, with me, until I finished crying.<\/p>\n
Many of the details from that day are blurry. But 20 years later I\u2019ll never forget the love I received at that moment.
