This is becoming a popular option in many cities around the U.S.. \u00a0In our town, it\u2019s called the \u201cTurkey Trot 5K.\u201d \u00a0What better way to start Turkey Day than to burn off a ton of calories in a 5K? \u00a0As with most 5Ks, there is lots of excitement and camaraderie around the event, and you will feel so accomplished when you finish\u2013and ready to take on a delicious feast. \u00a0Check your local newspaper or Active.com<\/a>\u00a0for more information on races near you.\u00a0It\u2019s not to late to sign up for one in your area this year, so go for it!<\/p>\n
