In case you haven\u2019t guessed, the Ogre is a bit of a stoic. When he gets sick he just wants me to leave him alone. He also likes to pretend he isn\u2019t sick until he literally can\u2019t get out of bed, at which point he kicks me out of the room and locks the door so he can be sick without all that irritating sympathy.<\/p>\n
I therefore feel that it\u2019s my duty as his wife to make up for his excess of stoicism with an excess of pathos.<\/p>\n
He does not agree.<\/p>\n
That doesn\u2019t stop me.<\/p>\n
