For those of you who might not know the Crescat<\/a>, let me tell you a little bit about her. She\u2019s a single mom who works her ass off to support her son and her mom. She\u2019s a convert who keeps it real for the rest of us with her hilarious cartoons<\/a> and her unflinching honesty<\/a>. She\u2019s a post-abortive mother<\/a> who chose life, for her son and for herself<\/a>. She makes it a priority to have her son involved in Boy Scouts<\/a>, where there are excellent male role models that help reinforce all the virtues that she teaches him at home. She loves\u00a0 Doctor Who<\/a> and she tells it like it is<\/a>. In all her copious spare time, she takes real estate classes<\/a> so she can get her real estate license and build a more stable life for her family.<\/p>\n

In short, she\u2019s freaking awesome. And her car just died a horrible death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So she needs a new ride. As you can see at her GoFundMe <\/a>page, she\u2019s already gotten about $2000 more than her goal of $5000. So why bother donating more?<\/p>\n

Because it would be really, really nice for Kat to have a car that isn\u2019t going to die on her again in three years. Getting more than she hoped for would be a pretty big change in her luck, and she could use it right now. Besides the car itself, there\u2019s also registration, taxes, inspection, insurance, and a whole crapload of other fees associated with buying a new car.<\/p>\n

Plus, guys, here\u2019s the thing: if you\u2019re looking for a pro-life cause to donate to, look no further. This is it. This is a pro-life issue. Yeah, there aren\u2019t any pregnant women or cute babies in the picture\u2026there\u2019s a single woman who\u2019s raising her son alone because it was the only way to keep them both alive and safe, and taking care of her mom at the same time. The weight of three lives are resting on Kat\u2019s shoulders, and there are too many of us to just turn away and let her carry it alone. The least \u2014 the very least\u2013 we can do is lift her burden a little by making sure she doesn\u2019t have to worry about transportation.<\/p>\n
