Several people on facebook linked to this article <\/a>yesterday, and then Sally blogged about it,<\/a> and I read it and have found my world shifting utterly beneath my feet.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m thinking of doing a series of posts on it, actually. It\u2019s all stuff that\u2019s been brewing in my head for a while but the article finally brought everything into focus in a way that made sense. It\u2019s even causing me to partially dismiss my well-publicized hatred <\/a>of almost all things French. I\u2019ll never be reconciled with their dreadful cinema, but perhaps I\u2019ll become a francophile in my parenting philosophy.<\/p>\n

So go read the article,<\/a> and then tell me, would you be interested in reading posts about parenting philosophies and how mine has changed from a \u201cspare the rod, spoil the child\u201d mentality into a \u201cscrew discipline, let\u2019s educate them!\u201d mindset? I mean, it hasn\u2019t entirely, but I\u2019m getting there. With caveats.
