These really do have to be quick, because no matter how clean the house is every night, by 10 am it\u2019s a disaster and we have to start the process of picking up all over again. And it\u2019s 11 am, so we\u2019re already an hour behind schedule.\u00a0<\/div>\n

I\u2019m so glad it\u2019s Friday. I get to watch The Big Bang Theory tonight.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Sienna has ballet at 9 am on Saturday morning. That depresses me. We can\u2019t ever sleep in while ignoring the rampaging children anymore, not even on Sundays, since we\u2019ve decided that we should really go to a morning mass like mature adults instead of frequenting the 7 pm Snoozers, Boozers and Losers mass.\u00a0<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0It also means that even though I\u2019d like to watch The Big Bang Theory from 7 pm until 2 am tonight, I\u2019m going to be forced into responsibly going to bed at 10 so I can get up, get the girl ready for ballet, and take her there.\u00a0<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I will probably have to shower and get dressed as well, because these people I will see are my neighbors, not vaguely familiar strangers who could give a rat\u2019s behind about the relative cleanliness of my hair. <\/div>\n

Having friendly neighbors is so nice, and yet I have not re-adjusted my personal grooming skills to match that reality, leading to many an embarrassed encounter with me, bra-less, make-up-less, greasy-haired and generally rocking some combination of overly large t-shirts, shorts and slippers. I\u2019m gonna have to start getting up and getting dressed before noon. Which seems like a lot to ask from someone who basically spent the last three years in pajamas. I distinctly remember weeks in Vegas when I couldn\u2019t even remember the last time I had worn a bra. <\/div>\n

Those were the unwashed, lonely days.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Liam has started this new thing where when he gets scolded or told \u201cno\u201d, he puts his chin on his chest, pokes his lower lip out, crosses his arms across his chest and goes and sits in a corner.\u00a0<\/div>\n

It\u2019s adorable. Last night the Ogre and I kept telling him \u201cno\u201d just to see him do it.\u00a0<\/div>\n

At dinner last night, Sienna was complaining that it\u2019s hard for her to have a little brother and sister to pick up after. After about five minutes of continuous whining, I finally said, \u201cWell, Sienna, it\u2019s hard for me to have a husband and three children to pick up after, but I do it anyway because I love you guys.\u201d<\/div>\n

She considered for a moment, then said, \u201cHow could I<\/i> possibly be hard<\/i>?\u201d<\/div>\n

In the spirit of Groundhog Day (I miss you, alma mater), I want one of these for each of my children. And one for me. Not the Ogre, though, because he\u2019s\u2026well, he\u2019s an Ogre. People might read the shirt and confuse him for someone friendly and\/or social, talk to him, and get eaten. <\/div>\n
