PART ONE
\nHeaven heaved
\nAnd God came down,
\nRiding on the wind.
\nThe mountains trembled
\nThe earth it quaked
\nThe trees began to bend. <\/p>\n

Fire and ice
\nThunder and lightning
\nAccompanied the condescension
\nWho could stand
\nAgainst such forces
\nWho had comprehension?<\/p>\n

In anger fierce
\nHis nostrils flared
\nColor suffused his face
\nThe God of all creation
\nCame to show he cared.<\/p>\n

PART TWO<\/p>\n

He rescued me from chaos waters,
\nHe plucked me from the sea
\nHe put my feet back on dry ground
\nAt death\u2019s door, then set free\u2026<\/p>\n

I will extol the Mighty One
\nWhom I love passionately
\nI will recount his mighty deeds
\nThat he has done for me. <\/p>\n

I serve a living savior
\nThe creator of us all
\nI\u2019ve found that he is ever ready
\nTo hear his loved one\u2019s call. <\/p>\n

I do not need to beg and plead
\nOr belabor what\u2019s gone wrong
\nI simply open up my mouth
\nAnd sing this victory song.<\/p>\n
