You never know who you\u2019ll meet on the Emerald Isle. And I rounded a corner and ran into this gentleman\u2026. $\"ss\"$ <\/a> Maybe its a new golf outfit for when he\u2019s playing in St. Andrews on his course there. But I digress\u2026 Ireland is a thoroughly Catholic country by heritage, and very conservative in social matters as well. And one of the traditional practices is honoring saints, visiting springs of holy water, and the like. $\"ss1\"$ <\/a> $\"ss2\"$ <\/a><\/p>\n

This is St. Kieran\u2019s spring, where you go for the holy water. $\"ss5\"$ <\/a> As for me, I was not going to drink that or use those cups, spring water or no spring water. The only Irish Spring I use is the shampoo. <\/p>\n

In the same region there is more interesting coastline\u2014 $\"ss7\"$ <\/a> $\"ss8\"$ <\/a><\/p>\n

And of course an endless supply of cute cottages\u2026 such as Kelly cottage\u2026
\n $\"ss9\"$ <\/a><\/p>\n

Andlso an endless supply of ferns\u2026
\n $\"ss10\"$ <\/a> I did not once see a garden hose anywhere. They hardly need them. It rains and rains\u2026 I forgot also an endless supply of sheep products\u2014 including sheep art. Anyone feeling sheepish? <\/p>\n
