\nprays his thanks, prays his love

\nfor out of the perils of his faith.
\nof human wrongs, of his own mistakes.
\nhe has recovered the thought,
\nthe memory almost, so close
\nto him it seems, of the man
\nnot of this world, born of this world,
\nwho came to a place on the hillside
\nand, seeing the multitude, sat down
\nand into the quiet quietly blessed,
