Take me to the thin places<\/p>\n
Tween here and paradise,<\/p>\n
Show me the river<\/p>\n
And that must now suffice.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
A glimpse of glowing glory<\/p>\n
Is all I need just now<\/p>\n
I can wait \u2018til later<\/p>\n
To learn the why and how.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The border between realms<\/p>\n
Is not so hard to find,<\/p>\n
But crossing that fine line<\/p>\n
Means leaving this behind.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
It doesn\u2019t take a death wish<\/p>\n
To want to know some more<\/p>\n
Of what awaits the pilgrim<\/p>\n
Who\u2019s standing on the shore.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Someday it will all be clear,<\/p>\n
But now the clouds obscure<\/p>\n
Occasionally the sun breaks through<\/p>\n
And helps us to endure.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Life is like a tapestry<\/p>\n
We view from the back side<\/p>\n
Occasionally we glimpse the pattern<\/p>\n
But mostly it seems to hide.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
To know as we are known,<\/p>\n
To see him face to face<\/p>\n
Would be too much for finite minds<\/p>\n
In this earthly place.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Faith is the assurance<\/p>\n
Of things we cannot see<\/p>\n
This does not mean they are not real<\/p>\n
It means we cannot be\u2026.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Satisfied with where we are,<\/p>\n
Or who we\u2019ve just begun<\/p>\n
To be\u2013 the image of our Lord<\/p>\n
And his kingdom come.<\/p>\n
