But perhaps you would not associate Edinburgh with fine art\u2026 though it has one of the best small museum collections of religious paintings in Europe. For example, did you know you could find a famous el Greco here\u2026.<\/p>\n

Or a very colorful painting of the stoning of Stephen?<\/p>\n

This painter must have thought Stephen was stoned by the fashion police for wearing flash clothes! But seriously, here is the description\u2026<\/p>\n

Upstairs there is a remarkable bronze statue of John the Baptizer<\/p>\n
