We cannot understand<\/p>\n
Even as transition<\/p>\n
For every woman and man<\/p>\n

Did life stop<\/p>\n
Or where did it go<\/p>\n
Must we follow<\/p>\n
Or can we say no?<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Why so seeming final<\/p>\n
A coda that has to end<\/p>\n
Or is it just our viewpoint<\/p>\n
That will not let us in<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Into the wonder<\/p>\n
Into the gate<\/p>\n
Into the Presence<\/p>\n
Before it\u2019s too late<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Perhaps just a glimpse of glory<\/p>\n
Perhaps a foretaste<\/p>\n
Would be enough to sustain us<\/p>\n
Without any waste<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
But then I remembered<\/p>\n
What the Master had said<\/p>\n
She is just sleeping<\/p>\n
Not really dead,<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Waiting for her Easter<\/p>\n
When I hear him say<\/p>\n
It is Death itself<\/p>\n
That just passed away.<\/p>\n
