The water lily pond at Monet\u2019s Giverny home is of course the center of the garden and the center of attention.<\/p>\n

But by no means are water lilies all there is to this garden, for example,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Right next to the pond itself is a five hundred year old grandaddy of a copper beech tree, providing shade in all directions.\u00a0 Beside it on the left is a bamboo thicket.\u00a0 \u00a0This is most definitely a magical place, and especially for my wife Ann a botanist.\u00a0 Shoot, in her honor there is even a botanic cafe\u2026.<\/p>\n
