My answer is yes, if the acting is good, and the story is interesting and clever.\u00a0 \u00a0Without question, during the late life of Stan Lee, Marvel heroes got the best of DC characters in the movies, with rate exception.\u00a0 But more recently,\u00a0 DC has made something of a comeback on the silver screen, and this is especially the case with this new film, which is by turns a romance, an action film, a good vs. evil morality play, and more.\u00a0 \u00a0Here\u2019s the original trailer\u2026<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The new film is even funny at times.\u00a0 We owe this to Mr. Gunn\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title='Look, up in the sky! A new \"Superman\" arrives' width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YTsxxjX6X3s?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SUPERMAN Final Trailer (2025)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/y2dfTxk58mg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The special effects are well done,but the heart of the story is the relationship between Clark and Lois.\u00a0 And Lex Luther is extremely well played and is a formidable villain.\u00a0 The only part of the movie that seemed hokie, or contrived is the way the two human parents of Clark are played\u2013 as if they are real ignorant hicks, but sincere.\u00a0 Otherwise, this just over 2 hour film is well worth the time and effort to go see it, and makes for the perfect summer fun flick.\u00a0 \u00a0And for dog lovers\u2014 Krypto is a scene stealer again and again.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 My answer is
