This presumably is a statue that was in a courtyard in a home, as the woman doesn\u2019t have a headcovering. <a elite women in Pompeii, but we must never forget the horrors that happened to them that hot summer day in A.D. 79, to be precise August 24th.\u00a0 Here below you begin to get an idea of what it was
