On the edge of Lexington, on the old Frankfort Pike is a private home on which property an art museum\u2013 the Headley-Whitney Museum has been built some time ago.\u00a0 It is small and has also a small adjacent building in which there is a huge seashell collection as well.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the adjacent building\u2019s \"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>collection\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But in the main building we have a special exhibit of the art of Charley Harper\u2013 famous for his birds, and catchy titles among other creatures great and small.\u00a0 Besides painting and drawings, he was famous for his posters, as we shall see.<\/p>\n
