Isaiah 26:3 has always been one of my favorite bible verses. I love this verse because it is a very clear promise, not only to Israel, but also to each and every person who chooses to obey the clear instruction in this verse. Just like happiness is a choice, so is embracing peace, and not just peace, but PERFECT peace.<\/p>\n

Jesus is the prince of Peace and so embracing Him and focusing our mind on Him will provide us with perfect peace. I think part of the struggle is that looking at the face of perfection can often be intimidating, because deep down most of us don\u2019t feel worthy. The irony in that is that when we DO look and focus on Him, the more worthy we realize He has made us. He wants us to have peace. He wants us to be comforted. He wants us to draw near to Him. So, I say, as hard as it can be, it\u2019s wiser to embrace something that is designed to love us and make us better than to stay in a constant state of turmoil.
