Recently I have been fasting and praying for comprehensive humane immigration reform. As a Catholic I stand with my Bishops on this, as a Christian I affirm the scriptures clear and repeated call for the care of the sojourner and stranger in the land, as a human being I am disgusted by the inhumane and despicable policies that allow for a scandalous loss of life and dignity of that my brothers and sisters are facing every day. This needs to end\u00a0now!<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>Recently I was privileged to hear Mary Small<\/a> talk about this issue to a group of students preparing for visiting their representatives. The video was inspiration and one of the best overviews of the subject I have heard yet, and it comes from a Catholic perspective. Do yourself a favor and take a listen.<\/p>\n
