Many of you have NEVER heard me us this benediction in the context of my day-to-day worship leading, but at some events I have been known to get my old-school liturgical groove on\u00a0<\/p>\n
For some worship services, the service is ended with the preacher giving what\u2019s known as the the Charge and Benediction.\u00a0 I use the following Charge and Benediction because I like it but mostly because it is the only one I have memorized.\u00a0 This is a compilation of many different\u00a0benedictions that I have heard throughout the years, no originality\u00a0claimed, just some great opportunities to share it.<\/p>\n

Go forth into the world
\nWith compassion and justice in your heart
\nGive strength to the weak
