This is evil. \u00a0Teen Vogue<\/a><\/em> decided that what the world needs now is a gift guide for teenage girls who\u2019ve just had abortions. \u00a0The author Whitney Bell really has the gall. \u00a0She says there\u2019s nothing in the world wrong with having an abortion, and the worst part is\u2026. wait for it\u2026 \u00a0the way people treat you afterwards.<\/p>\n

Yeah, tell your\u00a0dead baby that the worst part is simply your hurt feelings over possible criticism, not his or her, you know, death.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the gifts are absolutely\u00a0ridiculous suggestions. \u00a0According to Truth Revolt<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Whitney suggests some fantastic gifts for the new mother<\/s> teen who just had an abortion. It\u2019s like a baby shower, but without having to wear those ugly maternity clothes! For example, she suggests\u00a0a coloring book featuring the second ever female Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsberg.\u00a0Because nothing says, \u201cI want to fight the horrors of the world\u201d than a coloring book.<\/p>\n

If coloring is not quite your thing, Teen Vogue<\/em> suggests a \u201cF U-terus\u201d pin which features both a uterus and<\/em> an extended middle finger. Our two favorite things! \u201c\u2026When some rude jerk asks if you regret your choice (as if that is somehow their business), you won\u2019t need to say a word,\u201d Whitney writes.<\/p>\n

Next, she suggests underwear for\u00a0after the teen\u2019s abortion. She writes, \u201cthat\u2019s no reason not to rock em for post-abortion woes, especially because there will be blood.\u201d Oops! Whitney, you temporarily let it slip in that this procedure is going to cause you to bleed for a week, even though \u2014 the very slideshow format suggests \u2014 it is NO BIG DEAL. Did you accidentally\u00a0use the phrase \u201cpost-abortion woes?\u201d Hey, what\u2019s there to be sad about? Oh right, \u201cthe world.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The bottom line? \u00a0There are many reasons NOT to get an abortion. \u00a0The higher rate of suicide, depression, miscarriages associated with the practice. \u00a0Now you have another reason not to get one \u2014 to avoid getting the dumb gifts Teen Vogue suggests in their oh-so-fun slideshow.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
