We live in an era where celebs feel they must speak out against the democratically elected President Trump just to fit in with all of their leftist friends. \u00a0It\u2019s actually rare to find a celeb who is apolitical, who can resist the urge to conform to the majority of their friends.<\/p>\n

But Kevin Hart, the actor and comedian, is doing just that.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way that I see it, my job as a comedian is to spread positivity. To make people laugh,\u201d he\u00a0said in an interview<\/a>\u00a0with the Daily Beast. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t want to draw attention to what\u2019s already pissing us as a people off.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He also said something similar to Variety<\/em>, when he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you jump into that political realm you\u2019re alienating some of your audience. I want to take your mind off of whatever may be going on in your life that could be wrong and give you a reason to say, you know what? It\u2019s going to be OK. That\u2019s being the positive, motivating, inspiring person that I am, that I always will be.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I LOVE that. \u00a0Though I don\u2019t mind that people have political opinions \u2014 I have many myself! \u2014 it does get old that every single area of American life has become politicized. \u00a0The most recent example of that, of course, is sports. ESPN learned a hard lesson that America doesn\u2019t want to talk about politics all the time!<\/p>\n

Hart even went further, saying that \u201cEverybody\u2019s not going to see things the way I want to see them. And they shouldn\u2019t. That\u2019s what makes us individuals. In that particular realm, I keep my opinions to myself. And like I said, if I don\u2019t have anything nice to say, I shouldn\u2019t say it at all. I\u2019m not in the business of trashing people.\u201d<\/p>\n
