2017.\u00a0 It keeps getting weirder and weirder.\u00a0 \u00a0The Australian<\/em><\/a> reports:<\/p>\n

The UK government says the term \u201cpregnant woman\u201d should not be used in a UN treaty because it \u201cexcludes\u201d transgender people.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

Feminists reacted with outrage to what they said was the latest example of \u201cmaking women unmentionable\u201d in the name of transgender equality.<\/p>\n

The statement comes in Britain\u2019s official submission on proposed amendments to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which the UK has been a signatory since 1976. The UN treaty says a \u201cpregnant woman\u201d must be protected, including not being subject to the death penalty.<\/p>\n

Yet in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office submission, Britain opposes the term \u201cpregnant woman\u201d because it may \u201cexclude transgender people who have given birth\u201d. The suggested term is \u201cpregnant people\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Okay, so what is wrong with people?\u00a0 There have been 2 cases in the UK of women who have \u201ctransitioned to men\u201d \u2014 but still had their womb and ovaries \u2013 who\u2019ve given birth.\u00a0 \u00a0In other words, they are women who have given birth.\u00a0 That\u2019s hardly a big deal.<\/p>\n

I almost never agree with feminists, but prominent feminist writer Sarah Ditum\u00a0said it best: \u201cThis isn\u2019t inclusion. This is making women unmentionable. Having a female body and knowing what that means for reproduction doesn\u2019t make you \u2018exclusionary\u2019. Forcing us to decorously scrub out any reference to our sex on pain of being called bigots is an insult.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exactly!<\/p>\n

For years, feminists and liberals have told us there\u2019s no differences between the sexes \u2014 of course, if that were true, there\u2019d be ZERO need to transition.\u00a0 The left is getting nuttier and nuttier and it\u2019s sort of fun to see them turn on each other.\u00a0 Eventually, people are going to get sick of all this non-sense.<\/p>\n
