Remember when everyone thought Cher had already passed away<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Apparently, she\u2019s still around, because she been sitting around tweeting about my mom, someone who\u2019s not even remotely connected to Cher\u2019s life or music.<\/p>\n

On her Twitter account, Cher has two mixed messages. On one hand, she proclaims \u201cThere\u2019s only love and fear.\u201d<\/p>\n

But on the other, she called my mom a \u201ca dumb C word.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Is that tweet supposed to be in the \u201clove\u201d category?<\/p>\n

Imagine if someone called Chaz a \u201cdumb C word.\u201d (Who I got along with so well through Dancing with the Stars, by the way.)\u00a0 She would, of course, accuse them of \u201cbullying.\u201d<\/p>\n

What is with this double standard in Hollywood?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve written about this before<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 People like Cher are the bullies:<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026 I see a lot of hate and a lot of bullying, but you know what I didn\u2019t see much of?\u00a0 Arguments.\u00a0 Here\u2019s a news flash, guys.\u00a0 Your hate and bullying don\u2019t work.\u00a0 People see through it, and they don\u2019t like to be pushed around.\u00a0 You think it\u2019s completely obvious that you\u2019re right, but\u2026 we think for ourselves.\u00a0 And we\u2019ll keep thinking for ourselves no matter what you call us.\u00a0 So keep sending the hate, but realize that hate doesn\u2019t win arguments.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I have no idea why Cher tweeted out such hate to my mom.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s because Mom\u2019s out promoting her book<\/a>, and Cher hates her message about Christmas and religious freedom.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s because Cher just had a bad day.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the thing.\u00a0 Cher, who pretends to be a feminist, chose to \u201cempower women\u201d<\/a> by calling the first female GOP Vice Presidential candidate \u201cdumb\u201d and \u201cthe C word\u201d because she disagrees with Mom\u2019s positions.<\/p>\n

In her restraint, she didn\u2019t spell out \u201cthe four letter C word.\u201d\u00a0 But in her stupidity, the really offensive \u201cfour letter C word\u201d is not the one she intended.<\/p>\n

Grow up, C-h-e-r.<\/p>\n
