<\/a><\/em><\/p>\nSadly, there are so many stories of celebrities admitting they\u2019ve had an abortion, and talking about how much heartache it caused. These stories are sad, but important to let people know how devastating abortion really is! I\u2019m going to do a series of blog posts about some of those stories, hoping we can all learn from their mistakes and pray that God would heal their heartache\u2026\u00a0and that people will quit seeing abortion as a\u00a0way to handle an unwanted pregnancy.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n Nicki Minaj<\/a> is far from the first singer to admit to having an abortion. Classic rocker Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac made news years ago when she admitted she\u2019d had a total of 4 abortions. \u00a0(h\/t\u00a0Mitchell Epner<\/em>)<\/p>\n In a pretty depressing article from 1992, Stevie talked about how much she regrets taking those children out of her life:<\/p>\n To give up four babies is to give up a lot that would be here now. So that bothers me, a lot, and really breaks my heart<\/a>. But they\u2019re gone, so\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n But I couldn\u2019t have because I was too busy. And I had all these commitments.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n She actually wanted children, but always let her career get in the way. By 2011, she\u2019d convinced herself that she was better off with her \u201cfreedom<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n It just makes me so sad\u2026 She obviously missed out on a lot of joy by not letting those children live. She made lots of mistakes just looking for happiness, and adding abortion to the list just increased her pain.<\/p>\n She recently said that her song \u201cSara<\/a>\u201d is about one of the children she would have had with Don Henley. \u201cHad I married Don and had that baby, and had she been a girl, I would have named her Sara.\u201d<\/p>\n
