If you\u2019ve made it this far, congratulations. You may have found yourself stirred by the title of this article, perhaps curious or maybe even outright offended. Well, let me quickly assure you that the title is meant as a joke. Of course men can be Witches!<\/p>\n
What this article is really about is a behavior I\u2019ve noticed a lot of since I started my blogging career: the tendency for people to comment on articles without having actually read them.<\/p>\n
There are those who read a little bit of the article, feel moved by something, and then skip to commenting before finishing its entirety. Then there are those who simply read the title of the article and proceed* to comment without having read anything else.<\/p>\n
Why is this a problem?<\/p>\n
\n
The reader doesn\u2019t get all the information or context of the article which leaves them confused at best and misinformed at worst.<\/li>\n
The author receives comments that clearly indicate the individual hasn\u2019t actually read their article which is annoying at best and shitty at worst.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The moral of the story?<\/p>\n
If you\u2019re going to comment on an article, please read the whole thing.<\/p>\n
