  2. Including fifteen first-year students adjusting to college.<\/li>\n
  3. With nineteen students learning about women\u2019s studies via things like the Defined Lines feminist parody<\/a>. \u00a0(It\u2019s a #sexcrime \u2026)<\/li>\n
  4. The numbers on these lists are arbitrary and meaningless<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  5. Coordinating three local<\/a> agencies<\/a> hosting<\/a> said first-year students doing service-learning.<\/li>\n
  6. My own related volunteer service at another local agency<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  7. Leading eleven students through the history of the Catholic Church\u2019s arguments against ordaining women.<\/li>\n
  8. Writing a list is lazier than constructing an argument or telling a story.<\/li>\n
  9. Grading fifteen first-college-assignment writing assignments.<\/li>\n
  10. Dining with said first-year students at the home of our new college president<\/a>. (Pictured above!)<\/li>\n
  11. Booking travel and lodging for four<\/a> upcoming<\/a> professional<\/a> trips<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  12. Observing several colleagues\u2019 teaching for purposes of formation and review.<\/li>\n
  13. Writing lengthy detailed letters about said colleagues for institutional review processes. \u00a0(Maybe I should write them in list form! \u00a0No!!)<\/li>\n
  14. Choosing to read an article based on the number of things in the list is even lazier than writing it in the first place.<\/li>\n
  15. Drafting two conference papers for presentations later in the fall.<\/li>\n
  16. Expanding a prospectus for a book chapter on vocation and undergraduate education<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  17. Writing an article on what justice for women<\/a> means when the category of \u201cwoman\u201d is contested.<\/li>\n
  18. Some sites use those list articles to simply generate more page views.<\/li>\n
  19. Faculty meetings, departmental conferences, and academic year opening ritual procession and events.<\/li>\n
  20. A home computer with performance issues that is seeking help from local tech<\/a> experts.<\/li>\n
  21. Apparently, they\u2019re called listicles<\/a>.<\/li>\n
