You are serving the Lord Christ.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When you face another Monday morning, remember that it\u2019s not really your employer whom you work for but God Himself and it is God Who will reward His children at Jesus\u2019 return or after their death, so don\u2019t lose heart. God is watching and we know that <span style=\"color: #800000;\">\u201cGod is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do\u201d<\/span> (Heb 6:10).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Romans 8:38-39 \u201cFor I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What is it that can separate us from God once we have trusted in Christ? In short, nothing! Not any height, nor depth, nor power on earth or (fallen) angels or demons and in fact, nothing on earth, and to make sure Paul covers it all, there isn\u2019t anything that\u2019s ever been created that can separate us from God. What can separate us from God\u2019s love? Nothing!<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Philippians 4:13 \u201cI can do all things through him who strengthens me.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The context of Philippians chapter 4 isn\u2019t that we can do anything we want but to suffer afflictions, deprivations, persecutions, and still be able to endure because it is Christ Who will strengthen us. It is not by our own resolve but by Christ Himself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/sites\/348\/2016\/06\/But-Jesus-looked-at-them.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8598\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8598\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/sites\/348\/2016\/06\/But-Jesus-looked-at-them.jpg\" alt=\"But-Jesus-looked-at-them\" width=\"650\" height=\"491\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Matthew 19:26 \u201cBut Jesus looked at them and said, \u201cWith man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This verse is in the context of Jesus just saying, <span style=\"color: #800000;\">\u201cTruly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God\u201d<\/span> (Matt 19:23-24) and<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> \u201cWhen the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, \u201cWho then can be saved\u201d<\/span> (Matt 19:25) so even the rich may enter the kingdom but only if they trust in Christ more than their riches.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Philippians 1:6 \u201cAnd I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So many Christians go through seasons of doubt but the Apostle Paul gives those who have doubts reason to rejoice because what God began in them, He will finish. A person is saved by faith alone in Christ alone and whoever believes in Him will be saved (John 3:16). It doesn\u2019t\u2019 say, <em>\u201cWhoever believes in Him will be saved\u2026unless they blow it.\u201d<\/em> God will complete what He starts in the children of God.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Romans 12:11 \u201cDo not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When we are zealous for the work of God we can serve God more abundantly. In the Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20), Jesus said to <em>\u201cgo into all the world.\u201d <\/em>A slothful person could care less about going because their evangelistic ideas might be, <em>\u201cWait till they come to me,\u201d<\/em> but since the lost aren\u2019t coming to church, the church should be going to the lost.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Philippians 4:19 \u201cAnd my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once more we need to see the context of this chapter, which we mentioned earlier, and it\u2019s not saying that whatever you want, God will provide but rather, He will<em> \u201csupply every need of yours,\u201d<\/em> but not every greed of yours, contrary to those who preach the false gospel of wealth, health, and prosperity.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Psalm 27:4 \u201cOne thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The psalmist focused on one thing; to seek after the Lord. That\u2019s all he asked. He didn\u2019t ask for riches, wealth or power but to seek the Lord and His righteousness (Matt 6:33). That\u2019s what God would have us seek because everything else is passing away.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Romans 8:28 \u201cAnd we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whatever happens today or whatever happened yesterday and those things yet to happen, we can rest in the knowledge that whatever happens, it\u2019s all going to work out for our good because we are called according to God\u2019s purposes and He can even use evil for good (Gen 50:20; John 3:16).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Luke 15:7 \u201cJust so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are so overjoyed when someone puts their trust in Christ because the wrath of God has been removed by their believing in Christ (John 3:36a) and that brings joy to those who know them, but more so, there is true joy in heaven when even one sinner is saved.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Hebrews 12:1-2 \u201cTherefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are running the race of life today and we may not even be able to see the finish line yet, but the fact is we are looking at our pacesetter and that is Jesus Christ so we must keep our eyes fixed on Him. He is the founder and perfecter of our faith, and knowing that, we should be able to better endure this race that\u2019s set before us, looking to the glory that\u2019s coming that can\u2019t even compare with today\u2019s sorrows (Rom 8:18).<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Conclusion<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Word of God has real power (Isaiah 55:11) so we need to be abiding in the Word daily (John 15:1-5) because it can truly be a motivation for you today and every day.
