Last week, 18-year-old freshman Anastasia Boylan was shot by the deranged murderer (whose name I will not use) at Oregon\u2019s Umpqua Community College, but survived to tell her tale by playing dead. <\/p>\n

ABC News got an exclusive interview<\/a> with Boylan, who is now recovering. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cLast thing I remembered praying was that my family and my loved ones and that the family and loved ones of my peers would somehow know that we\u2019re all OK,\u201d she [Boylan] said, \u201cand that they could somehow find peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

From her wheelchair inside the Oregon hospital that helped save her from a gunshot wound to the back, Boylan recounted the terrifying nine minutes inside the Roseburg school last Thursday, when gunman Chris Harper-Mercer, 26, opened fire, killing nine people before shooting himself to death.<\/p>\n

Boylan said he even spoke to them. \u201cHe sounded really deranged,\u201d she said, \u201cbecause he said he had been waiting to do that for a really long time and he laughed.\u201d \u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026 Boylan also said the man had a question for each of his victims.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had us all get up one by one and asked us what our religions were,\u201d Boylan said.<\/p>\n

One student was shot when said his religion. \u201cThe shooter said that he would only feel pain for a couple of seconds and that he would be with God soon and then he shot him,\u201d Boylan recalled. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
