I could write a post about how thankful I am and how important it is that we be thankful this time of year, but frankly I\u2019d rather you spent today with your family and friends than reading my blog.<\/p>\n

Now, for those of you who are still here, I\u2019m going to treat you to my latest idea for Thanksgiving cuisine: Mexican Jello Salad Dip!*<\/p>\n
Start with a goodly quantity of unset green jello.<\/p>\n
Pour the unset jello into a large casserole dish, making a layer about three-quarters of an inch thick. <\/p>\n
Stir in a bunch of diced hot peppers of various sorts. Then, put the dish in the refrigerator, and let it set.<\/p>\n
Spread a thin layer of red salsa mixed with sour cream on top of the jello.<\/p>\n
Poor another layer of green jello mixed with diced peppers on top of the salsa\/sour cream mixture. Then, put the dish in the refrigerator and let it set.<\/p>\n
When the guests arrive, spread a thin layer of guacamole over the top and serve with tortilla chips.<\/p>\n
