If this is real<\/a>, then it\u2019s yet another reason not to vote for Trump.\u00a0 I\u2019m all for reaching across the aisle.\u00a0 In my Protestant ministry days, I was one of the most ecumenical pastors in my denomination.\u00a0 Sometimes I actually received some major push back from my own congregations as a result.\u00a0 But I\u2019ve always been OK with people I disagree with.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

But there are limits.\u00a0 Somewhere, Christians lost our ability to call out our enemies.\u00a0 It\u2019s OK to say we have enemies.\u00a0 As a dear friend who was a Presbyterian pastor once told me, Jesus commands us to pray for our enemies, love our enemies and do good for our enemies\u2026but at no point does he say that in doing so they will cease to be our enemies.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

So assuming that the above story is true, and Trump has picked as a spokeswoman someone who seems to hate Conservatives and Christians as much as the KKK hates blacks, you have to ask yourself \u2018what is he thinking?\u2019.\u00a0 I mean, if these posts are true, this is nothing but hatred and contempt by a person who clearly would be happier if people like me weren\u2019t taking up space on the planet.\u00a0 And this is who Trump picks?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll wait and see if this is accurate, though I found other sources<\/a> that appear to agree.\u00a0\u00a0 But if it is accurate, then no Conservative or Christian with half a brain should support Trump until he does something about this.\u00a0 If he doesn\u2019t?\u00a0 Well, figure it out.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
