\u2018Bout that race.\u00a0 Yep, it\u2019s that time of year again<\/a>, when activists blast the Oscars for being too white.\u00a0 Imagine if someone said the NBA was too black?\u00a0\u00a0 Can we say double standard class?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I would like to know which actors or actresses they think should have been nominated.\u00a0\u00a0 Could it be that the ones who did best just happened to be white?\u00a0 Is it bad when winners are white?\u00a0 Is this all about the color of people\u2019s skin after all?\u00a0 I\u2019m increasingly convinced that as long as we approach race like this, racism will continue.\u00a0 Whether those who run with this sort of thing are unaware of it, or are hoping for that very outcome, is a judgment I defer to other more worthy sources of insight into people\u2019s true motives.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
