<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps it\u2019s us, but those African Americans who are our friend seems to echo this particular take. \u00a0They don\u2019t seem to tell their kids much other than \u2018be good people, look both ways before crossing, do good in school, etc.\u2019 \u00a0 I\u2019m sure there are exceptions. \u00a0There always are. \u00a0And perhaps that they are friends with us suggests they take things in a different direction. \u00a0I don\u2019t know. \u00a0Just thought this perspective was an interesting take compared to\u00a0some of what I\u2019ve
