Until we conform to liberalism<\/a>, there will be no tolerance of non-liberal beliefs. \u00a0Note in the article that the author deftly uses the term \u2018culture wars\u2019 to subtly include the Church\u2019s traditional stance on homosexuality. \u00a0It doesn\u2019t give details or examples of this culture war language the Church has used. \u00a0It merely presents the Church\u2019s approach, that Pope Francis is changing, as part of those vaguely applied \u2018culture wars.\u2019 <\/p>\n

That\u2019s the problem with shrinking from being part of the culture wars. \u00a0Those who are fighting against the Faith are still fighting them, and using the term at their convenience. \u00a0FWIW, after over 10 years of attending Catholic services, I have yet to hear the topic of homosexuality addressed. \u00a0A few years ago, our priest begrudgingly, following a request by the Bishop, mentioned that marriage is between a man and a woman. \u00a0But that\u2019s been it. \u00a0The H-Bomb has not been dropped in a single homily I\u2019ve heard, and I have attended many different parishes over the years. <\/p>\n
